VBR Audio Encoding Error in VirtualDub..Please Help Freinds

Hi Guys,

I have a 99.24 mins divx avi file which i opened with VirtualDub to CUT to fit into a CD. But when I opened the file this following error msg appeared. Can anyone please tell me, how to solve this matter with VIRTUALDUB, because I tried to cut it by other editing tools but audio and video missmatching after cutting.

ERROR MSG:
"VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatibility. This may introduce up to 20894 ms of skew from the video stream. If this is unacceptable, decompress the *entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder. (bitrate: 127.8 +-13.1 kbps)"

Please tell me the steps how to solve this. Thanks

Do as it says......... save *entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder
Do a [search] there is a question a day on this issue.

Or use vdub-mp3-freeze instead of vannilla vdub.

If you take a look at the forum rules it states No Warez discussed. This means NO talk of pirated movies. Your user name and the fact that you have a 99 min DivX file indicates to people that you use Kazaa to obtain what is most likely a pirate movie. I'm not saying it is but it could well be.

At least you didn't start with "I've d/l the new matrix but cant convert it to VCD . . "

Try using Vdub MP3 freeze instead of normal vdub to get rid of this message.
