  1. I've been using TMPGEnc for cutting and joining .mpg 1 and .mpg 2. When I play them back, most of them are out of synch. Which program is the best (and user friendly) to cut and join?

    Appreciate any info,

    Yvette

  4. I bought the Womble program. Is there a guide, I spent a lot of time, what I thought I was cutting, and I wasn't, it still is the whole movie.

    Can anyone help?

  6. So far I only use TmpGenc and VCDCutter.
None are perfect, so I combine both.
VCDCutter is perfect to combine clips with no out-of-sync audio, but inacurate to cut the clips.
TempGenc is perfect for cutting but very bad for audio sync (always out of sync)

  7. I will try your suggestions, quriousman. I went ahead and bought Womble, but still having problems with cutting and joining. I will try VCD Cutter to join, and TMPGEnc to cut.

  8. I cut with womble and join with tmpgenc.

Cutting with womble is really easy, just mark your mark in and mark out points then click on the little drum symbol. Make sure you have the right format checked under MPEG Format in the popup that appears, give it a name and hit save.

  9. I've done that with Womble. I thought it would be easy, but when I view the cutted mpg, I view the whole movie again. I'll try again...

  10. OK, here is what I do step by step, please tell me what I'm doing wrong with the Womble program.

I open the program, then File/ open the mpg.
I select where I want to cut it by using the left arrow up, and then I select where I want to end it with the right arrow up.

I click on the drum, and save it under a different name.

But I still get the whole darn movie. With comnercials and all, what am I doing wrong?
