Ok, Larry Jansen was my old boss; he's from Texas but retired now. The penquin must be Tux; we ported our application from SCO Unix to Linux and Tux was our mascot. He sat on the top of his monitor.
-
Zounds, looks like Tux has gained some weight. He looks like the penquin that ate New York.

Thanks are in order.

HAHAHAHA that was a great thread. I enjoyed the part I got to play.
If you don't mind me asking, and if you do mind then that is ok too, but who is his co-worker that put you up to this? Is he a regular on this board as well? Just wondering if it was someone that posted alot here.
Great thread.

Hatz,
That would be me!
Obiron and I are cubicle-mates and have worked together for more years than some of the people on this forum have been alive!
Lucky for me that he is an easy going sort of guy. I might come to work in the morning and find that someone had formatted my hard drive!Just what is this reality thing anyway? -
This was a fun thread. I enjoyed it even if I was the brunt of a worldwide joke. I feel privileged to have been the target
Hay Will, errrhh Hey Will Hay (nyuk, nyuk, nyuk that's 3 Stooges talk), I did pick up on the red car and the transmission work. My take was like this: realistically speaking, how many people in the world have red cars or had their transmissions worked on? If you have a large enough population those particulars could fit a lot of people; so I had no idea you guys were targetting me specifically. You should've gone with the ronnettes, that would have given it away. You guys pulled this one off perfectly. My hats off to you.
Speaking of Hatz, (get it? Hatz, ... hats; .......nevermind), I'm a regular lurker. I post when I think I can provide some help but I'm still a noobie so don't post that often. This board has been great for me; I've learned tons of stuff and you guys have been great. I_am_dave has helped me alot in person, since he only sits 10 feet away. And for you Will, that's 3.05 meters.
