when a PC & a MAC work together...STRANGE huh?

Ok heres what i wanna do. I have some VHS captured clips that ill edit in Premiere and then make a DVD out of them. Only problem is that i have no idea how to author a DVD plus the fact that ill be doing all the editing job on a PC that has no DVDR drive. But there is a MAC computer available that has a DVDRdrive on where i can burn my DVD. Id like some directions on how to deal with this problem. Some people in here have recommended me that i can author the dvd on the PC and then tranfer the VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS files on the mac and burn them on a dvd through "Toast" (its an app like Nero for cd dvd burning). Is that possible, i mean can i do all the "dirty" authoring work on my pc and then tranfer only the final files on the MAC in order to be burned on the DVD?
If that cant be done plz advise me what is best to do in order to author a dvd and finally burn it on a MAC DVDRdrive!!!

I can't tell you the best authoring solution on the PC because I have never done it, but I can tell you that if you create a valid VIDEO_TS structure on your PC and copy it over to your Mac, you will be able to burn it with Toast.
My wife has a Dell laptop that I run DVDshrink on. It creates a VIDEO_TS folder. I copy that over my network to my Mac and burn with Toast.

Anyon else plz? If a DVD authoring app is recommended id be very mutch obligated if i can find a tutorial about it!
