  1. I've ripped several DVDs using 0SEx version 0.0110a1.

When I try and encode to divx or a VCD I receive the following error:

"Unable to determine the total number of frames in the source movie"

The file will encode however it plays in VLC very linear; fast forwarding and rewinding requires actually playing through the parts in between to get there.

Anyone know what causes this and how to make it go away?

  2. To make it go away, you should update to version 0.0.9.

  3. Very cool!

    That'll do it.

However now that I can get encodes at blazing fast speed my audio isn't syncing.

    Any suggestions?

I checked a bunch of the threads but I didn't see any answers for going from a VOB to a VCD or DivX.

    Thanks..

BTW....ffmpegx rocks! I've purchased 3 peices of shareware in my life; ffmpegx is one of them.
