virtualdub error

ive being trying to load a kvcd into v,dub but when i do i get thie error message, can sumone plz tell wot it means and how to go about loading my kvcd into it

Use virtual dub mpeg2 which is available in the tools section. It should be able to handle your kvcd file.

Your file may be corrupted or truncated. The version of V-Dub I pointed you to can open any mpg file I've tried.

It's possible virtual dub can't handle kvcd files since they are not standard mpg1 or mpg2. What do you want to do with your clip?

convert it to dvd, i've already converted it onec, but when i put it in my dvd player it was doing the same as the kvcd was doing on the pc picture stoping while the audio is still playing

The video was more than likely made with TMPG. Tmpg should accept the file and convert it. You can also go to www.kvcd.net and see if someone there can give you advice. That would probably be your best bet.
