    Could somebody help me?

    Is it true that i cant view jpg pictures with this dvd-player (sony DVP-NS430)?
    Has somebody tried it out?

    No, you can't.

    The manual clearly states that CD-ROM's, DVD-ROM's, the data part of enhanced CD's, etc, can not be played.

    MP3 is supported so long as you maintain a specific directory structure, but as for viewing JPG, no chance.

    Unless you make a VideoCD "Slideshow" of them.
