Hi. Welcome to the forum. :c)

Have you tried doing anything besides looking at it yet? Have you tried playing it?

Lots more info needed to be able to attempt to help.

  3. I've tried playing it, and it works great, I can skip chapthers and all, undtil i get to the end of the movie. My guess would be at that point where theres some unburn space or overburned space on the dvd. But its like the disk have resumed and burned the last of the dvd. It's not totally at the end of the disk theese marks are...
I've tried burning it in nero and dvd decrypter... ?
Could this have any influence, and tried with spiderman and fear x..
Could it be a buffer underun maybe or something?
    Or is it the disks.?

There could be a few things, but most likely is "bad" media.

A lot of posts here say Princos are not very good. :c*

People who have problem discs usually keep the size down to 4 gig to avoid problems near the end.

Good idea to look up your Media, Player & Burner in the sections on the left to see what works best for other people with the same hardware.

Even burn speeds can make a difference.

  5. Try in a different player and try different brand of disks.

I have same burner, never had a problem. I used cheapo Leda/princo 1x from shop4tek and never had a problem really. They All worked in my Norcent Dp300 player. All but 3 Worked in all the rest of the players tested in.

Then I got a Norcent Dp312, Half my disks don't work in it! JUNK player!
Just get a wrong disk type error. My ritek disk played till near the end, then jerked a few times and locked up. All disks work perfect in the DP300 still!

Sometimes the way they are burned has an effect, looks like the ones I have problems with in the DP312 are the ones burned with Nero, except the ritek!
Just got the riteks, 4x printable ones and only burned a couple.

Next princo you burn, try it at 1x. Also look at the disks BEFORE burning and see if the have any strange spots, then look again after burning.

  6. have just tried burning it at 1x speed, and only to use 4 gb of the space, but it still errors, the ring of bad data is just before it.. my gues is about 3.5 gb to 3.7 gb..
    It's very strange...
Should I try to reinstall my drive??

As overloaded said above - they could be bad discs. I'd try a different disc type before uninstalling/re-installing things.

  8. Thanks, that is my conclusion to... I've bought Ritek and Sunstar now.. Hope that works instead.. I can still use Princo as backup as long the data doesn't use more than 3.5 gb...

  9. What is the newest firmware? I've got this drive and I only get 1x burning on my Princo discs even though Nero says 2x . . . but no burning errors.
