Why convert, if I'm right here, what is basically an MPEG1 format to an MPEG2 format file ??

If its plays perfectly, just leave it alone, unless you have a very specific purpose that needs it to be converted ??

If you convert it, it will need to be re-encoded, which will lead to even more quality loss

  5. the reason s b/c i would like to burn the file i have on a DVD using sizzle. I demuxed the file, changed the audio, muxed it back together, but now the file when it plays shows a black screen (but the audio plays). Sizzle to my knowledge takes m2v files not m1v. Am I correct. Thanks for the assistance guys on how to convert the m1v to m2v.
