Spare remote for Liteon LVD-2001

I like this player and hope the firmware will be improved. I would like more codecs support, proper timers in different modes, less restrictions on the obvious remote commands, screen savers, visualizations...

One thing that bothers me is the remote. I always try to keep the original remotes in a safe place, but I cannot find a compatible or universal remote. I have an X10 learining remote, but it doesn't work with this player (different spectrum, or some other incompatibility). I wonder if anybody came across a compatible with this player or learning remote?
