VCD Burning problem (Once nero 6 was installed)

Hi, i was burning vcd`s properly on the old nero version (nero 5.5) but once i installed the full new software package of nero 6 all the data file in the MPEGAV folder are showing as NeroMedia files insted.
I already tried to uninstall the 6 version and reinstall the old one but it did not help.
Anyone had this problem before?????
Please let me know how i can sort this problem

Nero 6 caused me problems too. For some reason (S)VCDs burned with the program would no longer FF or REW in my DVD player even after playing with compatibility settings. I had to resort to VCDeasy 1.1.3 which I was lucky to get from Tucows. The same files burned with VCDeasy do not have this problem.

If all else fails do a system restore back to a date before you installed Nero 6. It is a pain but will definitely work. Just try to remember everything that you installed after that date first. You can also try to change the file associations of the avseq.dat files to whatever media player that you prefer to use. You also did not say if you were having any playback problems. If the disks work in your players then you may just want to leave it alone.
