I want to backup 2 Disney films to one DVDR. I have used DVD Decrypter to backup the films to the hard drive and then I want to use Dvd2One 1.3.0 to join them but since I cannot find a cack for this program I was going to use DVD Shrink 2.3. I open this program and open up the video_ts folder for the first film. I then choose Re-Author and drag the largest title to New DVD window. I then open a new copy of the program, open the seconds film's video_ts folder, click on Re-Author and drag the largest title to the first copy of the program. I then choos Backup and decide where the files are going to end up.
Now my problem. Half way through the conversion it stops and says that there was a problem, but has no explaination. This is I guess just where the films should have been joined. So, what am I doing wrong?

  5. I don't think Shrink "joins" titles. It puts them as seperate titles on the disc.

Did you try to: Do only the 2nd title? Do only the 1st? Get the latest version of Shrink? Play the titles on your computer to see if they play ok? Recreate the IFOs with IFOEdit? What are the files included in the second title? Does it have more than 9 vobs? Does it have IFOs?

You see .... Even if you didn't mention kr4kz, it's hard to comment on a no message error.

With the latest version I: 'Open file' the 1st. Click re-author which opens a new window. Drag 1st to new window. Open 2nd in original window. Drag to new window. Close original window. Click backup in new window.
I mean it in the nicest way.

  6. Hi all.

younso, to make a compilation you should use v3.0 beta 5.
Here are a few guides to get you familiar with it:

Here is the "making compilations" guide:

Please keep in mind you cannot remove the discs from the drives until DVD Shrink has finished the backup process.
So you will have to use two drives or rip one of the discs to your hard-drive first.

So does this mean that the one film has to be in the drive or can I have both films ripped to the harddrive?
