well, i loaded up SVDC2DVD today and it attempted to autoupgrade, short after i was prompted with access denied too AutoUpgrade.Lib.dll.

ive tried a few times and still get the same error.

    any ideaS?

BTW i think an option of not upgrading should be added to future versions. i dont see why an update shouldnt be optional.

actually a quick reboot did the trick.

one question, this newffmpeg audio consider sounds great, but how does the quality compare to the 48 khz? or will i be getting the same quality, just a faster encoding time ?

I'm changing my "update" server. so for periods today things were "wierd". you can turn off auto update in the menu.

in my opinion the audio is the same as before. its still 48Khz BTW!

At 75% less time it is certainly worth considering.... I try to watch as many movies as i can & i shall be using it from now on.

A 2 SVCD (1.57 GB) movie from mpgs to VIDEO_TS took 26 mins and the sound was awesome!
