  1. I used Tmp to covert a AVI to MPG but there was something wrong with the format... then converted the AVI using easyX video converter ( no audio came out ) so I split the audio and AVI using VirtualDub and then converted the file to Mpg format..I'm now trying to join the Audio back with the Mpg But they just wont....The audio file is 384kbs..I still want the quality

  2. Why didnt you load the audio when you made the mpeg?

    If you wanna add it to the video, make sure its an .mp2 and the video is .mv1/mv2 and use TMPGEnc's multiplexer.
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author

    384 generally means it's AC5.1 . If you made a DVD, you set, just Author with the AC5.1 file (assuming your author app will do that). If it's SVCD then you need to downconvert it to 2 channel positional MP2 Audio (192 kbps works fine for this). If it's VCD then your just being silly and wasting our time :P
