  1. I am wanting to make sticker labels for the vcd's i create but i can't find images on the net for some of them so thought if i could just capture an image from the video i could use that instead. however, i don't know how to do that and i searched the forum and how to guides and couldn't find anything. if anyone could tell me if its on this site or what program and how to use it to accomplish this goal, i would truly appreciate it.

    If you get VirtualDubMod to read your mpeg file
    you can pick a frame and hit
    video->Copy source frame to clipboard.
    Then open Paint or whatever and paste

    PowerDVD can save stills also.

    you can use quick time movie to copy still image from mpeg/movie.
    just press play then stop to image that you would copy.
    Then you may open on adobe potoshop 6 or 7. Create new file then select paste.

    Or while you edit the video using Ulead MS Pro 7 you can save image from the preview.

    Hope you get it
