    i have a philips dvdr70 recorder. i have an aunt in australia, id like to send her some home videos. i am in the uk. can you tell me if my recorder records is regional 2 format or is it regional zero? if i make my recorder regional free, does it then record regional free or would the recorded discs still be regional 2?

    Should be 0 or All, try to use DVD Decrypter to find out.

    i use dvd decryptor to rip and burn my own dvds, i didnt know i could find out the regional in decryptor, i will have a look and see if i can see on it where the region is shown in it.
