Is there a program that will let you re-format a dvd-rw? I can create nice dvd home movies using Pinnacle Express but somehow the dvd-rw was changed to an audio format and shows 1.99 gigs available and it's a 4.7 gig dvd-rw. I can only erase with the PrimoDVD utility program.

In Europe the Pioneer drive ships with VOBs InstantCD/DVD. This has a button to erase a CD-RW or DVD-RW disc and works fine. However, you have to load the program for creating a new CD/DVD before you see the Erase button.
I would presume Primo has the same button. Insert your DVD-RW disc, choose to create a DVD disc layout and look for an Erase or reformat button on the toolbar.
