Hi,
Sorry for my English.
I'm trying to Capture on my PC (TV-Card by Zoltrix) S-Video Signal from Video. I have new Win2000 and WirtualDub. On my Win98 a haven't any problem. Now, when I try to set User Format to 480x576 or 352x576 VirtualDub give me one Message - Format is not Correct. There is no problem with VCD format. Only with SVCD and CVD.
What can I do?
Thx and best regards.
PJ

There's a chart there showing the correct formats. I don't know which you are trying for which result.
The CVD Guide is here: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=98177
Maybe you are mismatching sizes and mpeg1 vs mpeg2?There's no place like 127.0.0.1
The Rogue Pixel: Pixels are like elephants. Every once in a while one of them will go nuts. -
I don't think, that the Zoltrix capture card can capture into mpeg-2 format.
You need an avi file and then encode into mpeg-2.
The format of the captured files depends on your codec you used for compression, which is normally 352x288or 720x576 or something in magnitude for PAL.No way to capture into 480x576 with the BTxxx chip and Huffy (on my machine anyway:formats > 352x288 produce too many dropped frames)
