    Hi,
    I have done it! I've got 1 french film with english subs, ran it through DVD2SVCD using sefy's guide & it worked a treat, just got to burn it now. So thanks druid for pointing me right way.

    By-the-way if you post results/thanks at the end of the topic where the problem is discussed (rather than in a new topic) people searching/browsing the forum can see if people's advice solved the same problems they might be having.
