    Good day. just wanted to know :

    If I have a one hour video on my dv tape(coming from camcorder),
    how long will it normally take to transfer it via firewire to pc?
    will it be also one hour considering its only a file transfer?

    Most likely it will be one to transfer the video. There are very few systems that allow faster than real time transfer, and as far as I know, none for consumer use.
    Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
