Funny enough I like PHANTASM II the best in the series (although I must admit I've never seen PART 4). I like the fact that PHANTASM II has a lot of kick ass action with Reggie Bannister becomming an almost EVIL DEAD Ash like character. Plus I feel the movie ... more so than the others ... has an almost EPIC feel to it with the way they are on A MISSION traveling around going after the TALL MAN etc.

I should point out that I didn't HATE Part 3 but it wasn't nearly as good as the first two in my book.

I really do need to see Part 4 some day ... I'd love to see how Reggie gets out of his predicament at the end of Part 3 ...

    P.S.
Just looked up PHANTASM over on the IMDB and apparently there is a 5th film now in production with the usual cast members including Don Coscarelli as writer/director along with Bruce Campbell !!!
Plus it is co-written by Roger Avary.

Anyway, has anybody here ever even seen Debbie Does Dallas? I don't know anybody that has. Was having this conversation just last night.

    Blame it on J.R. Ewing

I'm still trying to figure out how John Travolta's character in URBAN COWBOY was from Pittsburgh, moves to Houston and has a heavier Texan accent than any Texan

I've lived in the Pittsburgh area my whole life and have yet to meet anyone that talks that way around here.

Movie logic makes about as much sense as a Days Of Our Lives soap, where one character can go from an infant to 12 in a couple months, then from twelve to 22 in another few months...while all the other characters stay the same age.
Though some characters start out being older than one, and somehow turn out to be younger than that same character in a few short years

Not enough of it to hold my interest.
Not even sure if Debbie (originally played by Bambi Woods) was in all the sequals....she's only credited for doing Dallas three times

And that must've been too much on poor Debbie, 'cause she ODed in 1986
