I just put in my second order with them a few hours ago. So far I like them. Good prices, reasonable shipping charges, and their customer service seems responsive (I have sent two e-mails with questions, and they responded both times within a day).
-
I've placed about 5 orders with them for various items. Everything has come on time and has been very high quality. I definitely recommend Rima.

I constantly see people praising Rima here, did you do a search? So much so I'm gonna try them(Rima) next.
Be sure and avoid Meritline at all costs! -
Top notch in every category. Prices, shipping, tracking numbers, returns. I go there first and only try the others for things Rima does not carry or if they're out of stock.

100 disks
- UPS Ground ($5.83)
- UPS 3 Day Select ($11.67)
- UPS 2nd Day Air ($15.73)
- UPS Next Day Air ($35.53)
disk sample pack
- UPS Ground ($4.24)
- UPS 3 Day Select ($7.82)
- UPS 2nd Day Air ($10.66)
- UPS Next Day Air ($26.64)
I guess these are fairly normal, though the 2 day prices seem a little high to me. And never do UPS 3 day... IT IS NOT GUARANTEED TO ARRIVE IN 3 DAYS! In fact it is not guaranteed to arrive any faster than ground shipping. It is only 3 days if UPS selects to deliver it in 3 days, the first and last time I did that the package took 7 working days, and it never got lost either, just a huge scam!
To contrast those prices, I ordered 30 inkjet printable CDs for Epson, and a book. The shipping was $1.50 for the CDs and free for the book. The book was discounted for the bookstore price by $5.00 too. They came in 2 days by ground, in 2 boxes a total of 5 pounds for $1.50 and I had the tracking number first thing in the morning after ordering.Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -

I've gotten packages from both fedex AND UPS with holes in the side of them like they were kicked. Untill the 1520 printer nothing was ever actually damage though. Most the time I have been lucky and nothing at all is wrong, even the shipping box is still nice from either.
I think alot depend what sorting areas they pass through! I am in the middle of the USA, but I get stuff from everywhere. At least any package only goes half the distance as some of you.
As for Rima I orderd once and am happy, plan to order again soon.
About $5 shipping on 100 printable CDs and 25 Ritek 4x printables. Even after paying shipping I still saved money over buying same disks at Shop4tek where I had been buying, they had free shipping, but higher prices!
You pay for that shipping one way or another! I'd rather pay rimas shipping costs and save on the products
They packed the disks well and they arrived safe. I think it took an extra day with ups than my shop4 and newegg orders normally take, but that's ok, I'm not normally in that much a hurry! And they did ship right away, it was ups that was slower. -
I placed an order with Rima last week and selected 3 day UPS and it was sent Fedex Saver. Not sure if they ship this way from now on, and haven't updated their web site, or if this is a temporary thing.
I do prefer the Fedex Super Saver because it usually, but not always, gets here to the east coast in only 2 days. -

Prices listed by village idiot are correct. I usually choose UPS ground shipping and get 100 disks for under $6 shipping. Add your item to the cart on the web page and then click on "shipping options" in the "basket contents" section.

ordered 100 pack white label 1x princos from rima last week. TOTAL after shipping was $70. Shipped it the same day and got it 3 or 4 days later. Media is great, no media induced coasters (tried first one with hacked 2x and it would not play on a standalone dvd player) our of about 20 burns.
I have used blank-cdr and received the shipment with with dvdr's out of the case and strewn about the box.
Tried allmediaoutlet and ordered 100 pack because it said free shipping and then when I checked out it included a shipping charge. Learned from the rude customer rep that they just decided to change it back....whatever
tried shop4tech for non princo stuff, but learned that my media was princo and cancelled. Basically, their price was $15 more expensive than rima and I dont buy into the princo-A quality and princo-B quality stuff.
Supermedia was great experience.
Me personally, I have been happy with rima and supermedia store the most. -
Well, before all you guys posted I ordered yesterday and chose 3 day ups...We'll see how it comes, in what condition, and who delivers it.
btw, I can't believe the cubbies just blew that game.Boy do I love my avatar! -
the thing about shipping with rima is its cheaper the more you get....
$4.73 for 100 pack of dvd's .......
i order 300 dvd's and shipping didnt go up for me at all ....
ive ordered from them at least 5 times and have been extremely happy each time....
i like them better than allmediaoutlet, and their prices are better than shop4tech -
regular FedEx is better than UPS almost always. But FedEx ground was RPS and FedEx bought them, and they're getting better usually faster than UPS but maybe only slightly better as far as damage goes... just my experience where I work..etc... just wanted to clarify that FedEx and FedEx Ground are completly different-- they run independently.
Still this is only blank media, if it gets damaged by either, it's usually due to poor packaging like from the bozos at Meritline for example. -
My last 10 orders have come from Rima.com
Whether it's dvd-r, cases, or whatever I order from them, they're a great customer-focused company and always get it right.
When you order, they ship the same day, they bill the same day and they send you emails the same day. Same goes for asking them a question, they reply instantly.
Great company, we should continue to purchase from them so that crappy places (that shall not be mentioned) do not continue to get customers just because they offer a cheaper price or better shipping rates. -
That's the thing about shipping, if the place charges actual charges or close, the more you buy the less it is per item.
$5 for 100 disks ain't bad shipping, but you could probably get 600disks for $6 shipping, if all on one order. SO lower prices plus shipping is a better deal than high prices with free shipping most of the time.
I think I could get 100 ritek and pay shipping at rima cheaper than getting the same disks at shop4tek even though they had free shipping! So then when you figure 600 disks (if I buy that many), that's a ton of savings!
Alot of places get customers on that free shipping though, they don't compare total costs at both stores, they just think that free shipping is saving them money, but it actually is costing them more!
Course with some places and items, prices are low AND free shipping and that's even better! Newegg has great prices on the stuff I buy most, and it has free shipping too, so that's a win/win type deal. But then on something like disks or a mouse, the price is decent but shipping is nuts, so thats a win/lose deal and I buy those items elsewhere for a lower total cost! -
Ok, I just got my 100 ridata discs today...great packaging and on time. Came via fed-ex. They sent them in to 50 pc cakes and threw in a long single spindle.
