    I use tmpgenc for now, for converting avi,svcd,divx and so on to vcd mpg
    But the movie i get gets hacks in it, so i wounder if you know any better programs or any soloutions to the hacking problem?

    Hands down, TMPGenc is the best MPEG-1 encoder out there. The only time you'll get hacky cdieo is if you have a corrupted dource or you're trying to converrt from one frame rate to another i.e. PAL>NTSC, NTSC>PAL. There are a number of guides in the Newbie Section, and just as a starter, make sure to enable Pull-down/pull-up dpending on your source video.
