  1. Hi all,

I had posted my query in the User Guides forum. Since there was no response, I am trying in this forum. This is for combining multiple VOBs using VOBEdit and IFO edit. Here is what I did so far as per the guide:

    (1) Put all the VOB files in one folder
    (2) Renamed all the files
    (3) Started VOBEDIT, open the first file, join clips, save as and the popup box which says 1. Clicked OK.
    (4) Now as per the guide, it is supposed to make the new working VOB. BUt in my case it does absolutely nothing.

Am I missing some setup or something. I can't seem to proceed any further.

Any help would me more than welcome.

    Thanks.

  3. Thanks wulf109 for your reply. Just wanted to confirm whether I need to rename all the files in the folder as per your logic or is it just the first file??

    Thanks.

  5. Thanks for the response. I was able to create multiple VOBs using VOBEdit. But I am getting stuck in the IFOEdit part now!! Heres what I have done so far:

    (1) Created number of VOB files using VOBEdit
    (2) Started IFOEdit and clicked on the Create IFOs button.
    (3) Open the first VTS_01_1.vob

Now the guide says Select use same as source. However I do not get this message. (I went through the remaining steps however but I did not get any ouput at the end).

Am I missing some setup here. I am using IFOEdit v 0.91

Any help would be more than welcome.

    Thanks.

Everything appears to be working fine and dandy till I get the end result. The video has some pixelation and the clip transitions are met with even worse pixelation. Could this be caused by my "old" computer not having enough crunching power? I have an old AMD Athlon 900Mhz with 256Mb 133 sdram running on Win98

Has anyone had success Joining clips using VOBedit and IFOedit?

I've thought of buying TMPGenc DVD Author, but I don't want to plunk down $70 if it is also not going to work seamlessly.
