But no subs will show when i play it on my standalone Nintaus n9900 player.
When I have ripped a file with dvd schrink the subs will show .. so my player must support it..?
But the guide is for svcd so is there a guide when making DVDR ?? or should I only mark the "CVD" in submux ???

SVCD and DVD subtitles are different.
I believe svcd subs are carried in a private stream in the MPeg file.
I think dvd subs are in a private stream in a vob file. The MPEG video is a seperate stream in the vob file.
Suffice to say, an SVCD guide will not work for DVD.
To mux the subs you need to use an authoring progam. Maestro, Scenarist, and IFOEdit are a few tools that can mux subs. If you don't have any, IFOEdit is the only free one.
Here is a guide on how to mux multiple audio tracks. It gives you the basic idea on how to author with IFOEdit, and how to use the results in DVD-Lab if you want menus.
The difference is you would point to a sup file. How do you get a sup file? Well there are some programs such as srt2sup and sub2sup that convert. I think subtitle workshop will convert from ssa to srt.I mean it in the nicest way.
