Now, I know I've asked a similar question before, but I'll explain everything this time:
I ripped a trailer from a DVD (NTSC), and went to copy it to a DVD-R, and here is what I did:
1) Opened SmartRipper and ripped the trailer from the DVD.
2) Used DVD2AVI's default settings to create an audio track and a d2v file.
3) Used TMPGenc Plus and reencoded the video. I used the DVD NTSC template, and left the encode mode in Interlace.
However, when I went to view it on my DVD, you could easily notice the interlacing, and well, it made it look like crap. What can I do? I was told by some to keep the interlacing, but the interlacing almost gave it a headache inducing look.
Is there a way to fix this?

Two possibilities spring to mind here (though neither may be right
)
1) The original trailer was not interlaced. If it was originally shot on film, this is quite possibly the case.
2) You selected the wrong field order in TmpGenc. Try re-encoding with the field order reversed.
