  1. i have real prducer and i want to convert a 255mb file (25 minutes of video and sound) avi file of cours to rm. but i want it to be 30mb. can i do that with the programme i told u about? can i choose the mbs i want here?

    or i should get another programme to convert it to 30 mb rm? if u know any good and easy free programme plz tell me guys.
    i need to convert it and compress it to rm . and i need the video to be in a good quality not a very bad one.

    plz help me guys i need this programme immidiatly or just tell me how to do it in real prducer . if it's not possible on it , is it possible on Helix or any other programme u can tell me about?

    Calculate bit rate needed to get the file size you need. Select your audience as per that and encode. You are better off with the helix producer-because bit rates are given directly. With real producer-you need to encode a few clips with various settings-to find bit rates used. the plus version gives you the exact bitrates and you can set any bit rate you want. Two pass vbr encoding gives best result.

    25 minute file that's 30 MB. You don't expect it to look like anything but crap do you? 180x120 resolution is the best you can hope for. Here's a tip: Quality RM files are the same length as Quality DivX/XviD files at the same resolution, they are both MPEG4's. Same for WMV files. RM/WMV have a variable framerate function that helps with still shots, but is useless for action shots. Both usually skimp on audio to save space as well, 64 or 96 kbps, and 22 Khz/mono are common.

    What is the source file? Resolution and quality?
