ati problems after i reformat my computer

i have the ati all in wonder radeon and i recently reformatted my computer and installed all the shit... problem is is reinstalled the ati and all the drivers and such... so the tv part works and such... thing is is when i try to record it just blinks and doesnt record... i was playing around with it more and noticed it records in wmv format but not avi or mpg... im going insane trying to figure it out cause it worked before all this reformatting and i realized after i reformatted it that i didnt have to... i know its probable something simple and im gonna be kicking myself...

go to www.ati.com and download last driver for your radeon.
be sure to use an updated version of multimedia center.
