When I use DVD Decrypter to extract the .m2v and .wav files from a burned DVDR, I am unable to open the .wav file in Goldwave. I get back and error saying something about the format being unrecognizable. Anyone know a way around this?
Thanks in advance,

Is the .wav sampled at 48 Khz? If so, maybe your app can't handle that. See if you can downsample to 44 Khz, and then try it again?

Goldwave handles 48Khz. Sound like DVD Decrypter is not creating an appropriate WAV file. Can you play the WAV in Media Player. Can you get properties of the WAV?Originally Posted by Forum Troll

I can play the .wav sample that I got from DVD Decrypter in WMP9 just fine. The Goldwave app doesn't recognize it for some reason. I think maybe the wrapper is different. I'm going to try and open it in another program like Headac3 or Besweet and re-convert it back to .wav and then try and open that in Goldwave. I'll post the results.
