  2. There are several programs for making slideshows. The best one i have seem thus far is MemoriesOnTv. It has several effects, and what i really liked about it was the Ken Burns effect. The only bad part is that if you want the MPEG2 plugin that costs extra. It's as simple as dragging and dropping folders for albums or dropping pics to albums. I really liked it.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but I use it to make an AVI file. Then I use TMPGEnc to create either an mpeg-1 file (for VCD) or mpeg-2 file (for SVCD). Then VCDEasy to author the (S)VCD. It works very well.

Maybe you could describe your process. What other programs are you using?

  9. Sorry I haven't posted this earlier been on vacation.....
I think the problem you are having with being blurry is that that the final product is coming out as vcd quality. To get the best possible display for your images on your tv you need at a minimum svcd quality, but you would want to try to get a program that supports DVD quality. Most of these "free" slideshow makers only support vcd quality which is like a 4th the quality of dvd. So you need to ask yourself one question , am i burning this to a cd? If you are it is either vcd or svcd, if you are burning to a dvd with a folder called VIDEO_TS then more than likely it is DVD qality, which is what you want for the best results. So that is why i suggested MemoriesOnTv, but you have to pay for both the program and the SVCD-DVD plugin. I do think however you get a bundle deal if i'm not mistaken....
