Using VCD Quick Preset I get 1017?

I am using ffmmpegX0.0.9 to convert a quicktime movie with a .mov extension to a VCD.

I use the quick VCD preset. All I get is a dialog box that says 1017.

I have done the same thing with 0.0.7 version and I get a .mpg file. The only problem is that the audio is distorted after conversion. I tried to upgrade hoping the audio problem would be solved.

What does 1017 mean and how do I fix it?
