  1. Can you download his guides from another website? Right now his guides are MIA on his site.

    Thanks TGSC

I don't think all of them are complete right now. But he keeps adding to them and posts a lot here.
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1

It's a hobby site. I was uploading one guide at a time, but I quickly got annoyed by that method.

By October 24th, all guides will be up, plus a few new surprises I just thought of this past month while testing a few things.

What exactly are you looking for? I've been posting images here as I see the need, and I've e-mailed text/images to people that have asked specifics. The formal guides, proofed and reviewed, just take a bit longer.

All the ATI capture stuff is up. The non-ATI MPEG covers NeoDVD and PowerVCR II (hope to add MainConcept). And non-ATI AVI uses iuVCR (thanks housepig).

I can always be e-mailed through my site, and I try to respond to reasonable messages.

I was looking for your Capture Mpeg with AIW guide. I still can't access the file on your site, the link to the guide sends me to a blank page?

I'm hoping that the guide will help me tweak my system so I can capture in SVCD with MMC 8.5. I have no problems capturing in VCD but I would like to take that next step to get the higher Q for my videos.

    Thanks Again TGSC

Yeah, few things to hit there.

The site is most compatible with Internet Explorer 5.5 and above. I'd need to know your Internet specs. You also may have firewall or other network settings wrong or too high for normal use.

I removed the old one for need of updates. Under environment, the important thing is DIRECTSHOW at top, MPEG codec next, then all others. For CPU settings, basically turn all of it on to speed up encoding about 25%.

Saturdays have turned into my "big day" for new cartoons, so it's sucked away some of my free time these past few weeks, hence the slower site development. Plus paying jobs always come first, had a few of those too.
