I want to back up 800 mb DIVX file to CD ( not leave it in my hard drive ). Is there any way that I can do this? Do I need to convert DIVX into another video format? Or do I need to reduce the quality?
Thanks for your help!

Do you just want to back up the data - performing no conversion, and not expecting to be able to watch the file on anything except a PC?
If so, you can get pretty big files onto 90/99min CD's.
You have to 'overburn', which not all burners support.
Nero can do this quite easily.
Do a search on overburn.

If your authoring software will let you burn as mode 2 or... it's also called something else, I think something with XA in it, set that, you if the file really is 800mb, and not bigger, you could fit it on a 700mb cdr
Ejoc's CVD Page:
DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy
DVD:
DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX
Capture:
VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author
