My NERO doesn't have 1X burn option? really!

omg!!!! how is this possible!!!! i'm trying to burn the VCD file with NERO but guess what? a 1X BURNING OPTION is gone!!!! it only gives me option for 2x and 4x. what the hell is going on~! it was there last month!!! how am i suppose to burn WAV files! i tried updating it but no good. i doupt it, but does anyone know what the hell is happening here and what i can do about it?

I suggest downloading or buying an other version of NERO or ADAPTEC... Try downloading it on Morpheus or KaZaA or whatever...

Perhaps the media or drive isn't rated for 1x (this is true for some newer drives). And what do you mean you can't burn WAV files? Burn speed has nothing to do with your ability to do that.

A lot of people believe (or actually have problems) that you must burn audio CDs at 1x or you'll get errors/beeps. Same thing w/ PSX games and some say VCD.

I know that my old CDR would give beeps in PSX and audio CDs if I burned at anything but 1x. My current drive burns everything at full speed no problems.

D/load an older verison of Nero or try another program like CDRwin et.al.
