    I have a wint tv go card and I capture videos in virtualdub using the Picvideo mjpeg codec. The prorblem is...i set the colors in the Source box and in the preview the color looks fine. but when I then view the capture file in a player its much brighter and the contrast is higher. Is there any particular reason for this cos I find it hard to set the right color settings cos they always come out different.[/b]

    Your Virtual Dub needs fine tuning. Click here and look under Setup-->Video Tuning.
