    Ok i went and bought the OEM version of the DRU-150A, flashed it to 150A and then upto firmware D... Now the problem is i cant get it to read/write anything as it wont even spin a CD i place in the drive. To start with i had windows 2000 and had problems there...so i decided to install XP over 2000 (upgrade) and it still wont work. Can someone help me please....

    me think yu flashed it without turning off dma settings first ,doesn't like that

    hmmm....so if i disable DMA and UDMA can i re-flash it?
