    HI everyone,

    I'm using WINDVR Plus to capture using an adaptec PCI avc-2410. When i go to option to try to change the encoding format, it just says "MPEG" and is grayed out so i can't access the list to change the encoding format. Why is it grayed out? Thanks!

    Becuase this is a Hardware Base MPEG Encoder which dose everthing in REALtime so you can't change the encoding format to anything eles other then MPEG.

    actually, one more question, is that MPEG 1 or 2 that it encodes to?

    It should do both if WinDVR allow for it
