Hi, all
I'm getting small black borders on the left and right side of analog PAL vhs capture.
Are the borders supposed to be there?
When i view the original tape on tv everything looks fullscreen. But the captured ones are annoying with the borders.
My capture size is standard 720x576. Specs: Premiere 6.5, Pinnacle dv500dvd
Please help

the reason you can't see the borders on a tv screen is because of overscan. the tv will crop the outer 5 to 10% of the picture to ensure it displays correctly. if you're planning on burning a disc to play on your TV - don't worry. if you want to play the video on a monitor, crop out the black borders with your encoding program.
