i thought dvdfab would have solved my problem... a 3 hour movie, full screen, looked crappy on 1 dvdr... so i tried dvdfab, but it seems as though it chooses a stupid split point... it packs (i think it was) about 2+hrs and extras on disc 1, and only about 30+min on disc2... why?
wouldn't i get better results, less reauthoring with half movie on 1 and the other on 2 ?
for example,
in this guide, http://www.mrbass.org/dvdfab/ ,
dvdfab has chosen to split the movie at 2hr, 6 min

(plus extras on disc 1 i assume)
BUT, wouldn't it make more sense place only about 1hr 45min of movie on disc one, use the rest of the room for extras (thus no reauthoring/recompressing would have to take place on disc one?
i assume above that 2hrs of video is the idea amount to fit on a DVD-R (a safe assumption????)
