  1. Hi,

I want to improve my caps, and looking for a TBC. Which one you guys think is worth, AVT 8710 or Datavideo TBC - 1000?

    TKS

I also have a JVC 7800U S-VHS VCR with a built in TBC/DNR. Do you think is it enough or having an extern TBC should improve video signals?

My question is, should I keep using only the JVC 7800U or adding another TBC is worth trying?

    I have used a TBC-1000 and it works great. There is a good article at;

    FWIW. . .

    @ davideck,

Yeah, but that websites test was a bit flaud. I say this becuase I too had
expeienced something they were going through.. that being color washout
or discolor or similar naming. The reason for the "taintedness" was due to
the device being used. This wasn't quite discovered till rescently (at least
by me, last year) and that website was last updated 10/2001.

Some devices cause interference in a given videos reproduction process.
I was using a Radio Shack 4 switch box in my ADVC and DC10+ and for
a long time, I didn't quite realize that my video source was being tainted..
till I got the ADVC. That's when I realized it. but, only because I was
going through a color washout period w/ my Canon ZR-10.
I heard (read) many others were suffering from this phenomina too.

I now use a plain (non elecontric) 4 switch box, and have no more issues

And, for another FWIW, I have the pci version, TBC-100 :P

Well, sorry for the brief history.
