i had thought of this, but still will be batteling the fact that i'll be doing a lot of YMCA sports leagues and i can't have everyone grabbing a demo. i think i'll just have to pick 1 format to be my dominant one and then offer the other for errors, and perhaps VHS as last resort.

Best bet is to email them via the site that what i did. They may have some Stateside distrubiters or know of other products (try a google search) I do approx 25 a month on a Epson 900 and as i said while the results are good. It can be hard to get each copy to print in the same place due to the way of loading the disk carrier..All by rack of eye.. (Needs some kind of stop making to ensure the same location is used each time). I use a thin strip of plastic as a stop in one of the holes in the bottom plate to ensure it starts in the same place now.
While 30 a month may sound a few if you are having to print half of these in one night you are going to be cursing the speed of printing.

The Epson can handle 30 plus a month no problem

Its just the newer cheaper version of the products you mention
I owned one and used the other and both are now overpriced for what they can do the Matisse is certainly a modified Epson before epson made their own excellent product

Sounds like you have enough business to need one of these:

This is about the cheapest automated burner printer I have seen and it is little more than a multi drive copy machine, and it includes the printer. It does use junky Lexmark cartridges for the printer though, but it should look fine.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

As you put it "Joe Blows" though some of them can be a bit picky if things dont quite look right.
Only other problem with the epson is sometimes the ink will stop running freely (one colour usually) and you end up binning a disk purely because its not printed right, (dont reprint very well). Never had a return for not playing on any thing i have done. I have used these blanks. All DVD -R's only reason i got this format is my player will only play dvd-r's...
    4X Princo Inkjet Printable DVD-R
    4X Ice Inkjet Printable DVD-R
    Burner is a Pioner 105
Always use Nero to burn ver is 5.5.10.28
    Awaiting some samples of
    Ritek 1x to 4x Inkjet Printable DVD-R
    Gigastorage Inkjet Printable (4x) DVD-R

Can I frame this and put it on my wall. :P j/k
Now you know why I have a 'plus only' burner and I wouldn't swap it for yours or a dual one.
    Frame this too

  10. You could build 10 of Village Idiots lexmark mods.
30 disks per month, that's only 3 per printer

Actually I did build one this weekend! It was fun, easy too, and so far works well. Not a high production printer by any means, but might be something to start with. Maybe do some samples ect..

If you have a week to turn out 30 disks, 6 a day should not be a problem

I have only done a few disks so far, but I do like it for personal use and plan to build another! Heck $35 for a disk printer, why not have 2 ?
I've bought my kid more expensive toys!

Except for the round UV cables and some cathode tubes, this is the least expensive part of my computer! (well, I geuss I do have a cheap floppy drive)
