dvd lab settings

hiya - ive bought (donated) to the author - tell me - if i want to use dvd lab to do my menu's etc which settings should i use for the mpeg files? every frame? 1st header? none?
and is it really neccesary to reencode the audio? -wont all players that will play this use 44k audio anyway - thats what the use to view vcd isnt it?

DVD-lab will not let you import mpeg1 (VCD) files so you need to make the menu for your vcd-dvd with svcd2dvd. SVCD will work with ES or PS settings of svcd2dvd without any patching headers or things like that.
