I also have an HDTV TV and i like to match brands I have a panasonic tv and I just purchased a s35 dvd player and I also have a DENON 1805 5 dvd changer because it has the farouda chip for progressive scan which can give stunning results also remember to use the component video cables where you can enjoy progressive scan just my 2 cents :P

  3. Well if you're screen has DVI input (which it should) then I'd go with the Bravo D1. The D1 has a DVI output and also has the ability to upscale DVDs to 780p or 1080i. Current initial responses on the avsforum.com has it as edging out the Lite-on 2001 when using the DVI outputs compared to the Lite-on analogue component output, although the Lite-ons is very good also. They both use the same chipset. When you use DVI outputs you're keeping it in the digital domain.
