  1. Hi i'm trying a trial of interVideos wincoder, and in the settings it has a systems tab where you can specify the "pack size" and "packets per pack". What do these need to be at to produce burn ready vcd's and svcd's? Does anyone know if you can even make burn ready cd's with this program? thanks

  2. i dont know this program but if you can create vcd/svcd compliant mpegstreams with it you only need nero or another burning app which has a vcd/svcd template. the only thing you have to do is to create the mpeg and burn it in nero with the according template.
the packet size for both vcd and svcd is 2324 bytes. for data cds it is 2048 bytes so thats the reason why you can burn 740 megs on a cdr if its a vcd/svcd and only 640 megs if its a datacd. if you select 2048 bytes packet size for a mpeg your vcd/svcd wont play smooth on your dvd player (if it does).

    yours, ben.
