I'm trying to transfer from audio cassette to my hdd, then to cd.. After reading some of the info on here, I understand that I'll convert the original audio to a .wav file, the burn to cd.. And maybe use some software, i.e., Cool Edit to 'clean up', if necessary, before burning.. BUT..
How do i get the audio to my hard drive? Is it is as simple as hooking up audio output jacks of the receiver (source) to the inputs of my computer?
And.. how the heck do get connect my receiver to my PC when they're in different rooms?? Is there 'go between' that can store the audio until i can 'download' it to my PC/hard drive?? What am i missing??
thanks.
