I just bought a 200-spindle of Winn-Dixie brand paper plates. I burned 2 out of the last 50 I bought with No coasters! They're great!
They're only about 2 cents each!

LMAO....well...then I guess those Phony Maxell disks are better then your Winn-Dixie Brand Paper plates, huh? But hey... 2 outta 50 ain't bad for 2 cents a pop..right? And hey....I personally like Publix over Winn Dixie....but Winn Dixie does make some damn good brand Paper Plates....so maybe you'll get lucky with your next 50. Keep us posted.

@Bob W ...glad you are having such success with your Sky disks....if you get a chance...after every 10 or so you burn..if you wouldn't mind updating with the status..that would be great.

I think it would be easer to just update when and if I have any failures. I'm getting real close to buying one of those Sony 400 CD changers so I need to decide on one brand of media to purchase to fill it up. I have used about 250 of the CompUSA brand media and like it but then I also use Ritek and TDK with good results however since I will need to buy 400 discs price is going to be a factor.

Did you say your gonna be buying a Sony Cd Changer Bob? Did I read that right....I thought you hate Sony...as much flack as you gave em' over that defective drive you got early on....but hey man..just givin' you a hard time. You mentioned a Sony CD Changer though..and mentioned COMPUSA/RITEK AND TDK....but it sounds like you're talking about DVD MEDIA. Does Sony have a 400 disk DVD changer too?

I've never been interested in a product like that.... the 5 disk carosel is perfectly fine for me...and the 5 disk SONY CD Changer I have...i've had since 1991.....as well as many other Sony products from that time or earlier. The damn thing plays every MP3 disks i've ever thrown at it....which I still can't understand because of it's time frame...this thing is like an antique..but looks and plays like BRAND NEW. Amazing to say the least...anyway...good luck with your purchase and media searches.

P.S. Bob...do you have a Lite-On DVD Rom by chance?

Yeah they make a 400 disc DVD changer and a 300 disc changer but the 400 disc unit is only a few dollars more than the 300 (go figure). The changer will go in the living room so people like my sisters, daughter, mom, and others may enjoy a selection of movies and not distroy the DVD's in the process.

I bought 100 pack of those 4x xtreme disks. they are certified for 4x but i tried them in 4 differnt burners and they only burn at 2x. 1 of the dvd burners where certified for 4x by the media list and it still only burnt at 2x. i didn't have any problems with the media itself other then the 2x issue. out of 100 pack i only burnt 1 coaster. only 1% being a coaster that's not bad at all if you ask me.

4x media that only burns at 2x = garbage
