10,000 RPM Firewire 800 hard drive - Is there such a thing? Would it make a difference? I've read in this forum where people have made internal hard drives and devices external ones -- is it possible to do that with a fast hard drive and make it faster?
What do you all reccomend for DVDing?

Not too many 10,000 rpm IDE drives. External SCSI does it all the time, for a price. If you need more speed, just get 2 or 4 external firewire drives, and make a stripe set of all of them.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
