  1. Hey guys I actually got a decent junk email and need to know if Memorex is good DVD media or not? Price seems pretty good at 40% off...

    Some advice?

Including the links for what you need to do so you guys can use it too.

this add is an online one only supposedly...

  3. I buy them at Compusa whenever they are on sale. I have made quite a few backups and no problems yet. They seem to be excellent quality media.

  5. I, too, have had good luck with this media. But what really caught my eye is the 10% off on the scanners because I bought one on Sunday which was the first day of the sale and paid full price. Guess I'll be heading back there with my receipt today to get my discount. May be time to pick up a new HD as well. Thanks for this post.

I use the DVD-R 2X with a pioneer 105, and they seem to be fine. But make sure that the Package is marked as VERSION 2.0. I have also had the misfortune of picking up an unmarked box, and these discs are not compatible with my burner.

  7. Unless memorex has changed recently the "+r's" are made by Richoh. Pretty good quality. (stay away from the -R's) I bought 50 +R's from office depot 2 weeks ago for $46, have only burned 2 so far, but they burned and played well. Look to your left and click on "DVD MEDIA" It has never failed me yet. -rob

I picked up the Office Depot Deal a couple weeks ago for the 4X -r's and they were Prodisc brand. They have worked perfectly in my A05 and NEC 1300A. Just make sure they say 4X on the label. Sorry Robb7979, but I don't know why you say to stay away from them.
