I'm very happy with my Sony DVD writer on the PC. It works great!!! But on the Mac i have a problem. If i connect the device to the USB port the drive i recognised and reads discs. The firewire port does nothing. I can't burn anything the drive is not recognised as a burner i believe.
Is it possible to burn DVDs with this drive on the G4? I use system 9.2.1 with Toast 5 Titanium. I tried some other proggies as well, but i don't think they'll do.
Thanks in advance!
