Slide Show Software Search

I am trying to find software that hs the following features

High quality image
Basic image editing
Different sound file attached to each still
Slide play length is preset value or length of audio, whichever is longer.
Burns VCD & SVCD
Optionally burns self executing slide show to run on a computer

I've tried Jasc, Adobe, Roxio, 3d Album, Figi Alblum, Pinnacle studio 8 and a few others and none have all these features. For Pinnacle studio 8 the trial software only burned vcd's and the image quality was poor. Used same photos with all sioftware and roxio and jasc had the best image quality.

Does anyone know of a software that will do everything I am looking for or am I stuck using several different softwares?

I doubt you'll find a slideshow tool that fits all those requirements.

Windows Movie Maker can be used to create the slideshow, then use TMPGENc to encode to VCD/SVCD, then use your favorite burning app to finish it all off.

Ulead DVD PictureShow 2 fills all but one of your requirements. Real easy to use as well, stable etc.

Although not marketed for slideshows, you might want to give Magix Movies on CD and DVD a try. Here is a link:

I used the (full) 2003 version of this software to create slideshows - quite happy with the features and the result (burned to SVCD and played on standalone DVD player). I think there is a trial version available.
